Chapter 8
Managing File Resources
About This Chapter
The methods of providing access to file and print resources in
Windows 2000 have improved upon those available in Windows NT 4.0. This
chapter explains how to create and share file resources and how to use
Dfs trees. It also explains the changes in NTFS permission
configuration, disk quotas, file encryption, and the new disk
defragmentation utility. At the end of this chapter, you will be able
to manage file resources in Windows 2000.
